- Rotary International - The main goal of Rotary International is to provide service in the workplace, in our communities, and in the world. They do this through a variety of local, national, and international programs.
- Cornell - a good general resource, Cornell receives Title VI funding which aims to strengthen university-based international area studies centers so that they may be a resource to K-12 teachers. If you want help searching for a resource go to the Cornell Data base - Red ops (link also located on the top of our district homepage): Specific areas of focus are: East Asia, European Studies, and South Asia and Africa . The Center for International Studies is also a good resource.
- Ithaca College Education Program - Many of the faculty in the education department are already engaged with Global Education initiatives. They are eager to collaborate with local K-12 educators. You may contact Jeff Claus, Department Chair for education, directly, or consult the spreadsheet with specific instructors and areas of expertise.
- Returned Peace Corps Volunteers - Did you know that Ithaca is ranked 9th in the U.S. in per capita production of Peace Corps volunteers (including myself, Gabon - '85)? This a great source for information, contacts and speakers.
