How to Use this Guide: An Introduction

This site is meant to be used as a resource base and a staging point for global education initiatives.  The overall goal is to foster international collaboration on projects designed for secondary math.  However much of the material presented here is of a general nature.

A brief description of the pages is given below.
  • Global Project Resources includes links to general global education networks across the world.  Many of these offer ready made projects that you can join.  There are also sub-pages including travel opportunities, web utilities and examples of global projects.
  • Global Math Projects lists some simple math projects that are ideal for collaboration with other schools.
  • Travel and Exchange is a selection of grants, internships and international programs for teachers and students.
  • Join the Collaborative  is a database for sharing contact information and forming liaisons. (Sorry, this is members only for now).
  • Tips and Advice is exactly that.  Learn from the experiences of others.
